A: I work primarily with small businesses and solo entrepreneurs, from solo creatives to small teams with payroll and contractors. The shared thread is that you’re building something independent and want reliable monthly bookkeeping without unnecessary overhead.
Q: How do you work with clients?
A: Work is conducted primarily through email and secure document sharing. You’ll have a clear monthly rhythm with set deadlines and predictable deliverables. Live meetings are minimal and only scheduled when necessary.
Q: What happens if my books are a mess?
A: Many clients come in with books that need cleanup. Cleanup work is scoped separately and handled as part of onboarding or as a one-time project before moving into the monthly retainer. You won’t be expected to start with perfect books.
Q: How is payroll handled?
A: Payroll is processed through Intuit payroll, the same platform your business already uses. Support includes payroll processing, review, contractor tracking, and answering payroll-related questions via email.
Q: What software do you use?
A: Bookkeeping is done exclusively in QuickBooks Online, and payroll is handled through Intuit payroll. This specialization allows me to deliver high-quality work without the overhead of managing multiple platforms.

A: You’ll complete a short application, sign a retainer agreement, provide secure access to your QuickBooks and payroll accounts, and gather any historical data for review. The onboarding process is streamlined and handled via email.
Q: Do you offer one-off bookkeeping or hourly work?
A: No. This service is retainer-based only, with a minimum 3-month commitment. That structure ensures consistency, quality, and a predictable workflow for both of us.
Q: What if I need something outside the agreed scope?
A: Anything outside the agreed scope is clearly identified and billed separately. You’ll never be surprised by unexpected charges.
Q: How is client data handled securely?
A: Client data is collected through secure channels, stored in encrypted environments, and never shared with third parties. All access is limited to authorized platforms only.
